Dear friends, colleagues, and valued clients,

Since our humble beginnings two decades ago — when our founder Timothy Osborne slung the tools of his trade over his back — we have been employing a hand-drawn tree to represent The Organic Gardener. As this tree grew in Brooklyn, so did our hardscrabble street credibility and home-grown reputation as the original organic gardener — the “OG” if you will.

Today, we continue to faithfully serve the people and communities in which we live — all the while expanding our offerings and abilities to meet our vision and commitment to greening urban rooftops and building immersive living spaces throughout the Tri-State area.

To reflect our growth and maturity, as well as the distinction and value of those we serve, we have taken it upon ourselves to explore our identity within the context of our foundations and groundwork for an enduring future.

In doing so, we have chosen to rebrand ourselves in a manner that honors the roots of our success, perennial relationships, and the identity we have nurtured as New York’s preeminent designers, builders, and maintainers of living rooftop gardens and green spaces for luxury residential, multi-tenant, hospitality, commercial, cultural, and mixed-use buildings within New York City and the Tri-State Area.

As a result of our process, we are proud to introduce the “OG” identity that will be used for our mainstay offerings within the realm of designing, building, and maintaining. And a “seal-based” mark whose adaptations will serve our community and educational programs.

However, no matter how we brand ourselves, the most important outcome is how our community and clients see and embrace our unwavering commitment to innovation, craft, and care in the pursuit of creating sustainable life-nourishing urban environments.
